Did you know you can earn cash and rewards just for taking surveys? It’s true. The best survey sites will reward you for providing them your opinion. Pretty sweet, right?

Survey sites offer a number of different ways to make money from your opinions. Some sites offer points that you can redeem for gift cards. Others pay you in cash through third-party services like PayPal.

Of course, you’re not going to get rich just by answering a few questions. However, it’s an easy way to make money from home and/or earn rewards in your spare time. Heck, if you play your cards right, you could easily sock away a few hundred bucks in rewards a month — all from the comfort of your own couch. That’s not bad for offering your thoughts!

If you think this may be for you, one of the best things you can do is join more than one survey site. That way, you have a constant stream of surveys to take. Sure, taking hours of surveys can get a bit tedious, but it’s an easy way to make extra money.

Sound good? Let’s get to it!

Best Paid Survey Sites for 2020

Without further ado, here’s our list of the best survey sites this year.

1) MyPoints

MyPoints a great way to get paid to do all the things you normally do online. You’ll earn free gift cards for answering surveys, taking polls, watching videos, shopping online, and more.

In fact, since 1996, MyPoints has handed out over $236 million in gift cards and Paypal cash to its members! That’s a ton of money for a little amount of work, right? Oh, and the company will give you a $5 bonus after you take your first five surveys.

Get started with MyPoints here!

2) Survey Junkie

Survey Junkie is still one of my favorite survey sites, and it should be one of the first you check out. With over 3 million members, it’s also one of the most popular.

One of the things I love most about Survey Junkie is that it’s quick and easy to get started. Simply sign up for a free account, complete a profile, and you can start taking surveys that match your profile right away. Even better, you’ll earn points that you can redeem for cash (through PayPal or direct bank transfer) or gift cards! All you need is 500 points to cash out, which is the equivalent of about $5.

With Survey Junkie, you can take surveys from anywhere and use any device to do it. So long as you have an internet connection, you can sit down to make some quick, easy cash. Seriously, it’s that simple.

3) LifePoints

Join a community of more than 5 million members in more than 70 countries who share their opinions about products and services every day. LifePoints claims its members inspired such products as anti-lock brakes, baby and toddler safety car seats, and even cash reward credit cards. Sign me up!

The company sends you surveys by email and you get to decide whether to participate. Occasionally, you’ll get “diaries” where you’ll record your activities, behavior, or habits. You might also get free products to try. Topics include sports, travel, health, and many other aspects of daily life.

Rewards are pretty sweet, too. You can pick from hundreds of options in the LifePoints catalog, including getting cash through PayPal. Other options include Amazon, iTunes, and Starbucks. You can even donate your points to charity.

Earn 10 LifePoints for signing up!

4) Vindale Research

Get paid to take online surveys with Vindale Research. Here, you’ll take surveys about products created by some of the world’s most famous companies. For each survey you complete, you’ll earn money.

Surveys are Vindale’s bread and butter, but you can also earn for participating in studies, watching videos, and reading paid email. Plus, there’s a referral program, so tell you friends.

One of my favorite things about Vindale Research is that the company doesn’t mess around. While some other survey companies offer points, rewards, and gift cards, Vindale research pays you in straight cash. I love that because you don’t have to convert your earnings to know where you stand. All you need to get paid is a PayPal account.

To get started, simply create your free account. It only takes a couple of minutes, and you’ll receive a nifty $1 signup bonus when you do.

5) Pinecone Research

If you’re looking to get paid for helping companies develop new products, Pinecone Research is one of the best survey sites.

As a Pinecone Research panelist, you’ll receive notifications when surveys are available and earn points just for giving your opinion. The points are redeemable for cash or prizes, including gift cards. In fact, you can cash out as little as $3, so if you’re after instant gratification, you won’t have to wait long.

Furthermore, you’ll also get to test products from time to time, which means more free stuff! And, of course, joining is free.

6) Swagbucks

Swagbucks is another one of my favorite survey sites because you have so many ways to earn. While you earn rewards for taking surveys, you can also earn points for surfing the web, watching videos, playing games, and shopping online. Many of those options are built into the free mobile app, too. How’s that for easy?

At Swagbucks, you’ve also got several redemption methods available. For starters, you can redeem your points for cash through Paypal. If you’d rather grab some gift cards, that’s cool, too. Redeem your points for credit at retailers such as Walmart, Amazon, and more. According to Swagbucks, the company gives out 7,000 free gift cards per day!

Swagbucks has long been one of the most popular online survey sites out there, and for good reason. As with most of these companies, membership is always free. And while it varies across offers, some of the earning opportunities are pretty lucrative.  So what are you waiting for? Get started with Swagbucks and earn rewards right away!

7) InboxDollars

InboxDollars easily makes our list of the best survey sites this year. My favorite thing about InboxDollars is that you don’t have to mess with points. Instead, you simply take surveys and complete other online activities for cash. That way, you always know exactly how much you’re earning.

InboxDollars offers several ways to earn. If surveys aren’t your thing, you can watch videos, play games, and shop online — all things you might be doing anyway. You can even get paid to read emails and redeem coupons!

Payouts on surveys vary, but most pay between 50 cents and $5.00 and take three to 25 minutes. Are you going to get rich? No. But, even if you only took two 50-cent surveys per day, you’d earn an extra $365 a year from InboxDollars surveys alone. Do other online activities and join a few more survey sites, and you could start piling up some serious money.

Joining this program is free, and InboxDollars provides a $5 bonus just for signing up. Taking surveys for money AND a signup bonus?!? What’s not to like?

8) Toluna

Want to get paid to share your insight and influence major brands such as Amazon, Coca-Cola, and Expedia? Become a Toluna Influencer!

Toluna awards its members points for completing surveys and polls, playing games, and inviting their friends. There’s also an active online community where members can create their own content, such as polls. You can earn up to 1,000 points for quality content.

Surveys typically pay 15 to 50,000 points, depending on length, and a daily sweepstakes awards 1,000,000 points to an active Toluna Influencer. Redeem points for gift cards, cash (through PayPal), or other rewards — whatever works for you!

Working with points isn’t as straightforward as cash, but to put it in perspective, 95,000 points gets you $30 cash deposited to your PayPal account.

Ready to get started? Become a Toluna influencer today.

9) SurveyClub

With so many ways to earn, SurveyClub is easily one of the top survey sites around. Established in 2005, SurveyClub is a research recruitment platform with a long history of connecting consumers with paid survey and study opportunities.

In addition to taking surveys, members can participate in research panels, product testing, focus groups, clinical trials, and more. When relevant, you’ll be contacted with opportunities that are locally based. Surveys pay in Amazon gift cards, while other opportunities might pay cash, sweepstakes entries, or prizes.

Of course, it costs nothing to register. Choose to receive opportunity updates via either email or text message. If these types of opportunities interest you, SurveyClub is definitely worth checking out.

10) Nielson Computer and Mobile Panel

Chances are good that you’ve heard of the Nielsen Company before. These are the people who put out the popular “Nielsen Ratings” for television programming, so you know that this company is legit.

Formerly called Digital Voice, the Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel works a little differently than some of other survey sites. Instead of having you take surveys, the Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel requires you to register the devices you plan to use and install the company’s app. Then, you earn points for surfing the internet as you normally would.

For registering one computer, you can use the points to enter Nielsen’s $10,000 monthly sweepstakes, making you eligible to win up to $1,000 a month. Registering a mobile device earns you points redeemable for prizes and gift cards worth up to $50 per year. I’d say that’s worth considering.

Join Nielsen Computer and Mobile Panel here.

11) YouGov

YouGov gives you the chance to sound off on some interesting topics and make money for doing so. The company offers new ways to participate each day, which provides a nice change of pace. The opinions you give might even be featured in the news!

YouGov works with thousands of organizations to seek opinions on interesting topics such as politics, current affairs, products, brands, and more. Most the surveys are short, taking only five to seven minutes. That’s awesome for when you have just a few minutes to kill. Why not make those minutes count?

For every survey you complete, you’ll earn points that you can redeem for rewards. Rewards include cash and gift cards from retailers such as Amazon, Target, and Best Buy.

YouGov Pulse is a separate program that pays points in exchange for downloading an app that tracks your internet usage.

Signing up is free, and you can use either your email address or your Facebook account to join. It takes less than five minutes to complete, and you can get started after that.

Get started with YouGov here.

12) PrizeRebel

PrizeRebel is another one of the best survey sites this year. This site has been going strong since 2007, has over 10 million members, and has paid out $21 million in cash and rewards.

Earning with PrizeRebel is simple. Just sign up for a free account and start taking surveys, watching videos, and taking advantage of offers. You’ll earn points that can be redeemed instantly for cash, Paypal credit, or gift cards. PrizeRebel even offers promo codes you can redeem for free points. You can find them on social media.

Registering is free, fast, and easy. Simply sign up with your email address and confirm your account. Otherwise, you can use your Facebook login to get started.

13) MySoapBox

Share your thoughts and experiences on stuff you buy, use, and do each day. Love it? Hate it? Want to improve it? MySoapBox might be your new thing.

Earn points for surveys and studies and redeem them for gift cards for places you’ll shop at anyway. I’m talking Amazon, Walmart, Target, Apple, Home Depot, and more.

There are two unique things about MySoapBox. First, the company requires you to stick around for awhile before you can redeem your points. Specifically, you can’t redeem your points for the first time until you’ve racked up 25,000 points. (Most surveys pay once you hit 750 to 1,500 points.) MySoapBox does this in order to create a community of engaged members rather than just folks who check in for some quick cash. But if you stick around, it will lead to lots of opportunities to rake in the points and will be well worth your time.

MySoapBox also gives back to the community. Each month, members choose which charity the company gives to. Past charities include the Alzheimer’s Association, the American Bird Conservancy, and the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. MySoapBox has donated more than $30,000 so far.

14) Harris Poll Online

Harris Poll Online is another great way to earn rewards from surveys. This company is well-known as a political polling organization, which means you have the chance to influence public policy. That’s pretty cool!

But politics isn’t all that Harris Poll does. At Harris, you can take part in any number of market research surveys. If you’re lucky, you may even be invited to participate in a local focus group! For your efforts, you’ll earn HIPoints. You can then redeem those points for rewards and gift cards. Reward partners include Amazon, iTunes, Starbucks, and more.

If you’re concerned about your privacy, you can rest easy knowing that Harris takes protecting your information seriously. Some security enhancements include two-factor authentication and non-email based user IDs. Plus, Harris Poll has been around for 45 years, so you know it’s legit.

As with other sites, signing up is free — what do you have to lose?

Join Harris Poll Online here.

15) Maru Springboard America

As one of the leading market research panels in the U.S., Maru Springboard America rewards its members for voicing their opinions on brands, current events, and more.

Most surveys pay between 50 and 500 points, depending on length and complexity. Once you have 5,000 points, you can redeem them for a $50 gift card or charity donation. Gift card options include Amazon, iTunes, Google Play, Visa, and more. It really is that simple!

Maru Springboard America is so popular it has to open and close registration throughout the year. Check here to see if new members are being accepted now.

16) Drop

You’re going to shop anyway, so you might as well get paid for it, right?

Drop is a bit different than the rest of the survey sites listed here. Rather than helping you make money by taking surveys, this app helps you earn cash rewards from your favorite brands.

Simply download the app on your Apple or Android device. Connect the app to a valid credit or debit card, then use that card to earn points while you shop for groceries, clothes, and other merchandise through linked or in-app offers. Want to ramp up your points? You can play games, take surveys, or refer a friend. When you’re ready, redeem your points for gift cards. Easy peasy!

Get started and earn while you shop with Drop!

17) Panda Research

Another one of my favorite survey sites is Panda Research. Here you can complete paid offers to receive up to $25 in compensation apiece! Although the amount you earn varies from offer to offer, that’s definitely a nice chunk of change. Payments are processed through PayPal twice every month, so you don’t even have to wait that long to get your money!

In addition to paid offers, you can also receive discounts, coupons, and giveaways at Panda Research. You can even get paid to read your emails and refer your friends!

Signing up is fast and easy. Simply fill in your name, email address, and complete a short questionnaire. Membership is free, and you can cancel your account at any time.

Get started with Panda Research here.

18) Panel PayDay

Panel PayDay is a little different from the other survey offers listed here. Rather than offering their own surveys, they connect you with other survey companies.

After signing up, this site offers a number of different ways you can earn. Rewards vary, but the top-paying surveys could net you $25 to $75 apiece! While the higher-paying options are relatively rare, if you’re looking for an easy way to make extra cash, this site is definitely worth consideration.

Sign up for Panel PayDay here.

19) E-Poll Surveys

Like many of the other best survey sites out there, E-Poll Surveys pays you to answer questions. In exchange for sharing your opinion with some of the biggest companies in business and entertainment, you’ll earn points that convert into gift cards or PayPal credit. Rewards partners include Starbucks, Best Buy, Amazon, and more. If you’re feeling generous, you can even convert your points into a charitable donation.

E-Poll also offers a $1,000 monthly drawing. 50 winners are selected and awarded a prize of $20 each. Registering with E-Poll is fast and free. You can also cancel your membership at any time.

Sign up for E-Poll Surveys here.

20) InboxPays

My favorite thing about InboxPays is the number of ways you can earn. Get started by taking surveys, reading emails, playing games, shopping online, and more! I mean, why wouldn’t you want to join?

I love that you can redeem your earnings for straight cash through PayPal. Payments are processed twice per month, almost like a paycheck. Payouts vary, but you can earn up to $100 per offer! That’s some serious cash just for things you’re probably doing online anyway. In addition, you’ll have the chance to “spin and win” a jackpot, clip coupons, and more.

Signing up is free, and you can get started right away. All it takes is a few minutes! Click here to join InboxPays now!

21) Opinion City

As you’ve probably guessed, Opinion City helps you earn cash just for giving your opinion. It does so by connecting you with the top market research companies who are looking to hear from people just like you.

In fact, you’ll earn a $10 Amazon gift card after just one week! After that, you’ll earn extra credits for every week you keep the software on your device.

25) Ipsos i-Say Panel

No list of the best survey sites would be complete without the i-Say Panel from Ipsos. If you’re a political junkie like me, you’ve definitely heard of Ipsos. This is one of the major polling companies taking the pulse of the American electorate. So if you want to make your political opinion heard, there’s no better place to start than here.

Of course, the Ipsos i-Say Panel isn’t just about politics. The company offers opinion surveys ranging from major brands to entertainment. You’ll earn i-Say points that can be redeemed for tons of rewards, including Visa prepaid gift cards, cash through Paypal, gift cards for iTunes or Amazon, and much more. 28) Rakuten

Formerly known as Ebates, Rakuten pays cash back every time you shop at a partner retailer through the online portal or in-store using a linked card. I know it’s not technically a paid survey site, but it pays good money for an easy activity, so I think it deserves a spot on our list.

I can’t stress this enough: You don’t have to invest any time to earn with Rakuten. Just buy the stuff you were planning to buy anyway and get a sweet kickback. I’m talking up to 40% cash back at more than 2,500 retailers!

Rakuten even has a browser extension for Google Chrome that reminds you to activate your cash back offer with a click of a button when you visit a partner retailer website. That way, you’ll never miss an opportunity to earn. It also finds and applies coupons, supercharging your savings.

Payments are processed quarterly via PayPal or check (also called the “Big Fat Check” — love it). Trust me, the cash back really adds up!
